EcoKaari on Shark Tank India Season 1!

EcoKaari on Shark Tank India Season 1!

Out of 62,000+ applications from across India, EcoKaari – Humanising Fashion – was among the 198 startups selected to pitch in Shark Tank India Season 1. Represented by our founder, Nandan Bhat, this milestone was not just about pitching to the Sharks but about amplifying our mission of upcycling plastic waste into sustainable fashion and creating livelihoods for women artisans.

Although our pitch did not air on television, the experience was life-changing. Standing before some of India’s most celebrated entrepreneurs – Aman Gupta, Ashneer Grover, Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, and Ghazal Alagh- was an incredible opportunity. We walked away with valuable insights, renewed motivation, and the validation that our vision matters.

But here’s the truth: while we swam with the Sharks, YOU are our biggest catch! 💚
Our supporters, it’s your support, encouragement, and belief in our artisans that keep us moving forward.

At EcoKaari, we believe in weaving stories of change, from discarded plastic wrappers to handcrafted products made with love by women artisans. Every bag, sling, or diary you buy is more than just a purchase; it’s a stand against plastic pollution and a step towards financial independence for underprivileged women.

Shark Tank was a stepping stone, but our real deal is with YOU, our community of changemakers, supporters, clients and customers who believe in purpose-driven fashion.

Because together, we’re not just swimming with Sharks - we’re creating waves of change
