EcoKaari – Featured in PM Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat

At EcoKaari, our mission has always been simple yet powerful: to upcycle waste plastic into beautiful, functional, and sustainable products while creating livelihoods for women artisans. What started as a humble initiative in Pune has grown into a movement that inspires people across India and the world to rethink waste and embrace sustainability.

One of our proudest milestones was when the Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about EcoKaari in his nationally broadcast radio program, Mann Ki Baat. This was not just recognition for us, but also for the cause of sustainability and women's empowerment that we stand for. Being featured in Mann Ki Baat brought EcoKaari into the spotlight, encouraging citizens to take action against plastic pollution and support social enterprises like ours.

The Prime Minister’s mention validated the importance of our work in tackling one of today’s biggest challenges, plastic waste management. Every EcoKaari product, whether it’s a handcrafted laptop sleeve, sling bag, or eco-friendly gifting hamper, is a story of transformation: from discarded plastic to a purposeful, durable product.

This recognition also gave our women artisans from underprivileged communities the pride and motivation to continue their craft, knowing that their work has been acknowledged at the highest level in the country.

As a socially responsible brand, we continue to collaborate with corporates, institutions, and individuals who want to make a difference through sustainable choices. Whether it’s corporate gifting, retail, or lifestyle accessories, EcoKaari ensures every product you choose is an investment in both the planet and people.

From waste to wonder, and from local efforts to national recognition, EcoKaari is honoured to be part of India’s sustainability journey.
